This is a blatant plug for some comedy websites I've created, so I hope that the Forum creators and users will forgive and indulge me. However, I have had little opportunity to promote these sites, and I think they are as good as the site I've devoted to my Sons of the Desert Tent. So if you are interested in any of the following comedians, I hope you will visit my sites.

Buster Keaton's Classic 30:

The Marx Brothers in "A Day on the Internet":

You know, I didn't even know about your website devoted to Beatles' songs until I checked out your Marx Brothers site. http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/itsalltoomuch/index.html
For some reason I had never gotten around to seeing that site until now. Your sites are all nice messes, I mean, great sources of information and fun to see. Are you going to expand the Keaton site to focus on his features, or is that "All Too Much" for now?

Stan: "How about Keaton's MGM work?"
Ollie: "Well, we won't go into that!"

I assume you mean his MGM features (I've already covered his pre-MGM work at the site), in which case I doubt it. I've seen THE CAMERAMAN and SPITE MARRIAGE, and IMHO, they can't hold a candle to his independent work.

Sorry. I had already been to your site a few times, but had thought that it was only about the classic 30 short films, and had not clicked on "filmography", where you have written about the great independent features that Keaton made. It's terrible about how he lost his independence, and I wish that he had been able to direct and act in his own films his own way throughout all of his life, but I guess that we should be thankful that at least we have have his great 1920-28 work.
