Should there be enough members to justify doing so, we will continue to add different language areas on the forum for other countries too.

I'm going to go out and buy a Dutch hat... Very Happy

I made a commercial for one of those balls you put in washing machines, or rather the soap that goes in it, many years ago in Amsterdam. It had a mouth where the door was and had to climb inside to make it talk. I had to learn the Dutch voice track parrot fashion (not unlike the boys international versions) just so I could lip-synch correctly.

Well, I was walking around the set practicing the dialogue... But couldn't figure out why all the embarassed chuckles form crew members. It seems I was miss pronouncing one of the words "lol" or something like that. Instead of saying the word "favour" I was mentioning an anatomy part Shocked Perhpas Dutch speaking freinds will know what I'm talkiing about?

They had put the whole animatronic washing machine on a pole arm to
make the whole thing move. Well let me just say, with that thing moving around and me drinking a little too much the night before.... I almost had my own spin cycle going on in there Laughing Great cure for a hangover, lemme tell you.

Well enjoy your Dutch threads.

Mikey

You mispronounced "lol"..... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I know that the "o" must have sounded like an "u" and yes that word is an anotomy part. But we won't go into that on a family website!

Thank you very much Ross for our own section. I'm sure René and I will try to make it a succes!

And Mike, I guess René is right about your prononciation-mistake. It must have sounded very funny though. Smile Smile Smile

Theo, you must go to the navigation menu and then click on ENTER THE FORUM. Almost on the bottom of that page you will find the Dutch Members Area. I hope this helps. If not, don't hesitate to ask again.

I understand. Ross must add you to the Dutch Members area. I'll send him a pm asking him if he can take care of this.
