I got an email about an hour ago that I've received a new PM. However, there isn't a new PM in my inbox. Does anyone know what could have happened and how I'll be able to read that PM?

Thank you!

If the person who wrote it to you deleted it before you opened it... it's lost.

It could be a spam member who we have deleted.

If there is nothing there, then don't worry.

Do you mean to say that if you wrote a PM and gave it to me, but then took it back from me before I read it, and deleted it, then it's something that I couldn't then read and give to someone else who could give it back to you or give to someone else, who gave it back to me...

Fin: "Why, you're all NUTS!"

But then if you checked you mailbox for your PM before 12 noon, then it would be AM, and then you wouldn't be able to read it, since it would be AM and not PM, unless if you found that it wasn't AM anymore and went back to PM, then you could read it unless if you didn't know if it was still the morning or the afternoon, or else you would have to turn on your radio to the FM dial, and listen for the time. And then if the PM that someone gave you were interesting, you could give it to me, and I would give it back to you and...

The same thing just happened to me. I logged in around 9:30pm here (I'm 5 hours later than the official time on the Forum- it's 6:45 am here but 11:45 on the Forum) and there was an email that said that a private message had arrived, but when I got to the Forum, there was nothing there. Now I've got a new email, posted about 2:28am here, saying that there's a new PM, but then when I got here, there's nothing. Have you been deleting phony "spam" members again, or is there a "glitch" in the system?

As previously stated, it will be a spam member who has PM'd you and then we have deleted them. There is no "glitch in the sytem".

We delete spam members daily.

Also, bare in mind the forum time is set in YOUR profile. I have changed it for you.

Sorry about the "glitch in the system" remark. I didn't mean to imply that the Forum was defective or anything. This is by far my favorite website. I click on here every morning and evening, and you sure do a wonderful job in keeping this all going.
