Laurel and Hardy, beer and lots of friendship. That is the formula for the Wigan Day and it always works splendidly. I loved it from start to finish. Well done, the Bacon Grabbers Tent.

It's a great write up Neil, well done. I even got a mention!!! I've made it to the level of Sons of the Desert infamy. ("Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me!!!")

One thing though : in the gallery, the third picture from the end......What is that spooky, smoky, misty phenomenon?

Will the "Most Haunted" team be in attendance at Laurel and Harday 2006 to investigate?

And re: the lights at the back which people where watching in case everything cut out if we got too loud, I was at a gig there on Saturday night and there is a big orange lightbulb after the red lights and even keeping that on we still had full power!! Wink

Good write up Neil. I think you covered everything

Congratulations to the principal photographer of most of those photos, Stephen Barlow (Dragon), for without whom, there wouldn`t be many picture memories.

I took some photos. Does anyone want to see them? I'll send an email with attachments to Ross if anyone is interested in seeing them up on the forum.

Yesterday, I sent a disk with my photos on, to Jean Darling. I hope she likes them, and the pictures give her a lot of happy memories.
