Oh we've done that before. I remember (faintly) having several drunken nights in the forum chatroom with other members. We must get the chatroom back soon.

Hearty congratulations, Bernie. Truly well-deserved. You got my vote, of course, so I'm pleased with the result. Shame Bowler Dessert Online couldn't have tied for first place, because Willie does a brilliant job there. But as there had to be a winner, Bernie's brilliant initiative and massive hard work are well deserving of the title.

Well deserved.
Can I just say a few words on behalf of all the Laurel & Hardy fans I know here in Manchester who can't be here with me to congratulate the winner, but who surely share in these sentiments....here are the words....

Toast...horse...triangle...scoop...legislate...heresy....loiter....magnetic...tonsil...pippet...dorsal...vernacular....gaskett.... and of course...hinge.

Congratulations Bernie....I love your site. I laugh, cry and annoy my wife everytime I visit.

Well Done Bernie! This is clearly the best tribute website online. Couldn't have been awarded to a nicer guy. I am lucky to have you as a friend.

Warmest Regards,

Bob

Simply wonderful, what a shame I have to get up for work tomorrow - I could browse this site all night. Truly a labour of love Bernie and beautifully designed to boot. Am looking forward to working my way through its contents. Thank you!
