You must have a brilliant sense of humour then.

All Leo's do!

P.S. - If I'm right, check out my signature on the Top Cards forum! Hope you like the completed set of cards by the way! Very Happy

Well, I thought I'd best show me face...

Neil here, aka 'Columbo' - I'm the bloke that designed the cards, and all the other 'Top Cards' on that forum... so I thought I'd drop in and say thanks for all your comments, I'm glad you like the cards.

Obviously, it's not easy restricted the choices to just 30 cards... there's so many classics to choose from in the L&H collection (a few of mine aren't in there, but that's another story).

Let me know what you think of 'em... they're all available to download and print off at no cost (I've done that with some of my other packs) - let me know if any of you do that, it would be great to know that they actually get used properly as a game!

Best wishes to all of you!

Regards!

NEIL.

Hi Neil. As I came on your forum and said, they ARE great!

And yes - I WILL be using them. I am a junior school teacher and I run a L&H film club every Friday lunchtime with loads of kids turning up to watch The Boys. After Christmas I will print off, laminate and offer a set of the cards to the kids as a prize for a L&H drawing competition. Top Trumps are very popular with the lads at the moment, but I know that I will have plenty of artistic girls enter the fray too.

Looking forward to that second set - you know ... the one with FRA DIAVOLO in it! Wink

Now that is excellent - and a compliment!

I did have some of my other card games printed and laminated - one I had done at the printers called 'Top Frighteners' - http://topcards.proboards107.com/index.cgi?board=cards&action=display&thread=1164575994 my horror film pack.

I have to say it's great fun to play a game you've actually done yourself - although my wife usually wins lol, but I'm a good loser.

I love the idea of the cards going as a prize... by the way, I have a 'competition' of my own to design a 'Top Cards' pack - Gary as you can see won lol, no prizes... but a full set of L&H cards was what he won.

If you ever need owt doing re: this, let me know... I'm designing an Ice Hockey one for one feller who's son is in a team - it'll be me first commissioned work.

Anyhow - enough for now - again, thanks for the compliments folks - appreciated.

Aha - it could happen sooner than you think... check this out:

http://topcards.proboards107.com/index.cgi?board=cards&action=display&thread=1166484826&page=1

I'll make a card for ye... one condition though: you HAVE TO be a 'proper' member of the forum... just enter the stats. and description etc. on that thread, and I'll do the rest!

Can't say fairer than that eh?

Same goes to ANYONE on here... follow that link, and you could see your VERY OWN "Top Laurel & Hardy" card get made!!!

Smile
