At this years Laurel and Harday we are planning to do a "Sons of the Desert" version of the X Factor (The Fez Factor) Shocked

What we are after are 6 acts consisting of either solo performers or groups of two or more.
Each act representing their own tent by singing a Laurel & Hardy related song live at the 'Beer Engine'

songs can be picked from
1- Trail of the lonesome pine
2- Honolulu baby - (with or without pineapples!)
3- Lazy Moon (Has been half claimed as the Bacon Grabbers entry -not confirmed!)
4- Let Me Call You Sweetheart
5- Way down in Dixie
6- Shine on Harvest Moon

It is the audience who will decide the winner, by filling in a voting slip.
There will be a count of votes one hour after the performances. The three acts with the least votes will be eliminated,
and the final three will come back on stage later in the day for the final result.

It should be a lot of fun, if all goes well.
All we need now are fellow sons to enter.
anyone who wants to nominate themselves or their tent please post on this thread

( oh and there is no need to worry I am NOT part of the Bacongrabbers entry , if you have heard me sing you will know why this is a good thing) Laughing Wink
