Laurel and Hardy fan Paul Aungiers wrote to the BBC to ask them if they might consider releasing the famous Laurel and Hardy documentary - OMNIBUS IN HOLLYWOOD - 'CUCKOO' onto DVD.
If you don't recall this documentary, it was narrated by Morecambe and Wise and featured so many people genuinely qualified to talk about Laurel and Hardy and it was last broadcast in April 1976. It was by far the best and most enjoyable programme ever produced about the Boys.
The BBC replied they they would only consider a release if there was substantial public demand, therefore, in an effort to persuade the BBC, we have made this petition on facebook and on the Laurel and Hardy Forum at http://www.laurelandhardyforum.com
